The first thing he mentions is that the crows are all gone from town, which he's really relieved about, because while they don't chase him around or anything anymore, he's still unnerved by them and the way they seem to stare at him. Other than that, he doesn't think there's anything weird outside from what'd be typical for the end of the year, like it snowing a lot earlier this year, there being more excitement in the air because of the holidays, and he's looking forward to his aunts and uncles visiting next month for the new year.

He's really excited about receiving a present, though, and thanks Terry a lot! Later, he'll come by Terry's pinpointing booth (or earlier if Terry visits the occult shop) and gives him a hand made card featuring crayon stick figures of Terry, himself, and the fox, with "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" written on the top of the paper. The card is decorated with copious amounts of red hearts and blue snow flakes.
