Personality: Neku is a young man who doesn't seem to get along with man people as he claims that he's "never understood them". He's still in the process of actually making friends but he has softened up a bit thanks to Shiki's help. He still is a sarcastic little shit, though, and is often judgmental of those he meets at first glance. Despite that, Neku is very creative and insightful as he has a love for CAT's graffiti work and the meaning behind them. He tends to get lost in his own thoughts, tuning out others and acting out on his own suddenly but he's trying to do better at working as a team because the words "trust your partner" means a lot to him.

Powers: In the Reaper's Game, he is able to read people's minds thanks to the Player Pin. He is also an expert at Psychs which allows him to use powers thanks to pins given to him.
