Age: 16-19ish, she acts much older sometimes and like an emotionally immature brat with trust issues other ones

Personality: Kaede is a complicated mess of a person; capricious and sometimes contradictory, arrogant and quiet, stubborn with a broken moral compass, cruel and whimsically kind in imbalanced measures. Much of who Kaede is was spun out of her miserable past and the whisperings of a murderous Voice; she's quick to anger, slow to forgive, and even slower to trust, and she deals with most things that trouble her by bottling them up and showing as few signs that they're there as possible—which is obviously healthy. When she does open up to people, she often becomes attached—and from that fierce attachment is a quick slide to clinging, outright jealousy.
Nyu—her other, more positive self, spun out of innocence and optimism—is by contrast almost too quick to trust, too quick to get attached, and more than once has been the one present when Kaede's actions caught up with her. She resents Kaede and is frightened of her, and wishes people would stop calling her Kaede's name.
CRAU: N/A
Powers: Vectors—Essentially telekinesis with a two meter range, capable of both powerful things like shredding metal and throwing concrete blocks fast enough to bring down helicopters and very delicate tasks like peeling an apple or knitting cells back together. The latter also seems to apply to diclonius subconsciously, as they tend to heal faster than ordinary humans. Contact with the vectors also changes the recipient's DNA slightly, causing their eventual children to be born diclonius if not treated for it.
Severe pain disables the vectors, though Kaede's been shown to resist that limitation during moments of extreme stress.
Telepathy(??)—Kaede can detect another diclonius' presence without seeing them, and they can do the same to her. Diclonius can also sometimes communicate without speaking, though usually in images or a burst of stressed, fragmented thoughts, or when Kaede was able to frighten a machine's living core to death through projecting her rage. It's unclear whether this could be done under normal circumstances.
It's not the most effective or useful ability, but listed for completion's sake.
Inventory: Clothes that don't quite seem to be hers, including a jacket too big for her that seems to have blood on it. Hm.
