In dungeons and around town during the Lockdown period, Shadows will drop a stone upon being defeated. These stones come in various colors and aren't recognized by the NPCs to be anything more than some pretty, colorful stones, but the characters will come to realize that the stones are the same ones found in the offertory box in the shrine in the woods and mountains. Characters may make an offering at either of these shrines, or give them to the Attendants, and gain in-game rewards.
These rewards are earned by players by submitting additional threads over what is required for AC. Bonuses come in the form of stat boosts (+1 to each stat), new Persona skills, game effects, plot clues, items, and canon abilities and items. Canon regains include additional animal companions if owned by the character and their corresponding skills. Threads must be started within the current or past month to count towards bonuses (e.g. during October, threads started in September or October may be submitted at any time, but threads started in August or earlier can no longer be turned in). In addition, each thread must have at least five comments from you.
Bonus threads may be submitted at any time. For each three threads submitted, players earn one bonus of their choice, plus one randomized bonus based off the color of the stone they submit. Players have the option of accepting or ignoring the extra bonuses as they wish.
Along with the number of threads, players must specify one of the following colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, brown, black. Each color is associated with a different gemstone which corresponds to a certain bonus type, altering the odds of getting a certain bonus. Players may also specify whether the character would ICly donate to the forest shrine, mountain shrine, or the Attendants, which will have in-game effects for the game as a whole.

Bonus Request: plot clue -- I initially said that I wanted a thread with Souta, but I think just tossing info here is good enough. Terry will want to track Souta down and ask him about the rumor of the shrine water purifying the lake, because no one in this town acknowledges the shrine in the forest. There can't be a rumor about something if no one even talks about it. Who is Souta, really...

Plot clue: Souta is a normal seven-year-old boy... maybe... He tells Terry that he heard the rumor when he was at his grandparent's shop, when some other people were there helping the old couple seal up all the books and other wares that are very easily water damaged, but he doesn't remember who was talking about it or much of the details. If Terry has specific questions, Souta's pretty eager to try answering them.
In addition, your randomized extra bonus is: Terry will be unable to speak for 2 full days.

Souta tells Terry that he doesn't know much about the shrine, and hasn't been back there since the time he'd met Terry and had Terry take him home because he'd gotten lost out there. So he doesn't know who the god is, or that there was inarizushi being offered in the first place, nor can he talk to the fox in terms of actually communicating... He just gets a sense that it's intelligent and understands him, and it sits there and listens when he talks to it, sort of like a child would do with their pet dog.

He's really excited about receiving a present, though, and thanks Terry a lot! Later, he'll come by Terry's pinpointing booth (or earlier if Terry visits the occult shop) and gives him a hand made card featuring crayon stick figures of Terry, himself, and the fox, with "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!" written on the top of the paper. The card is decorated with copious amounts of red hearts and blue snow flakes.

Also can Terry pinpoint the reason why the crows keep staring at Souta? Maybe they know something that he doesn't...

It seems like the crows have been keeping an eye on people who they think are weird— this includes all the Persona users, but before the lot of them appeared, Souta was one of the weirder ones because he had no friends and talked to foxes instead or something. Maybe because his grandparents own that store but they stay indoors all the time so Souta was the next best thing? It's unclear. Maybe he just looks tasty.
Anyways, Terry better greet him for New Years if he's still alive by then.

also just to clarify, when souta says all crows are gone from town, that's ALL of them, right? no one will see a crow in town except those plagued by bonuses?
