In dungeons and around town during the Lockdown period, Shadows will drop a stone upon being defeated. These stones come in various colors and aren't recognized by the NPCs to be anything more than some pretty, colorful stones, but the characters will come to realize that the stones are the same ones found in the offertory box in the shrine in the woods and mountains. Characters may make an offering at either of these shrines, or give them to the Attendants, and gain in-game rewards.
These rewards are earned by players by submitting additional threads over what is required for AC. Bonuses come in the form of stat boosts (+1 to each stat), new Persona skills, game effects, plot clues, items, and canon abilities and items. Canon regains include additional animal companions if owned by the character and their corresponding skills. Threads must be started within the current or past month to count towards bonuses (e.g. during October, threads started in September or October may be submitted at any time, but threads started in August or earlier can no longer be turned in). In addition, each thread must have at least five comments from you.
Bonus threads may be submitted at any time. For each three threads submitted, players earn one bonus of their choice, plus one randomized bonus based off the color of the stone they submit. Players have the option of accepting or ignoring the extra bonuses as they wish.
Along with the number of threads, players must specify one of the following colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white, brown, black. Each color is associated with a different gemstone which corresponds to a certain bonus type, altering the odds of getting a certain bonus. Players may also specify whether the character would ICly donate to the forest shrine, mountain shrine, or the Attendants, which will have in-game effects for the game as a whole.

You're in a room, flames everywhere and thick with fog, several bodies already lying on the ground but there are still five others standing— with Yashiro-no-Shugosha in the middle of them all. It's hard to see what's going on through all the fog, but you can hear shouting, calls for Personas and sounds of battle all around. You have a short sword gripped in your left hand and a gun in your right, but before you can do anything else, you meet the Daitengu's eyes and it feels like something has taken over your body, dragging you forward and raising your sword to bring it down not on the Daitengu, but on a girl's shoulder as she lets out a scream.
There's a gust of wind that clears the fog, just in time for you to see the others— your teammates— all fighting against one another while the Daitengu sits back and watches. Every time you try to take a step towards the Daitengu or call your Persona out to fight against him, Messiah instead appears to blow apart anybody standing in your way, bodies flying, falling, your sword through their throat and then you're moving onto the next and the next until the only people left are you, and Souji, grey eyes wide and fearful as you step forward and pierce his stomach with your blade. He falls forward, collapsing against you and soaking your clothes with hot blood, before crumpling to your feet.
Everything goes silent. Everything feels numb. In contrast to the way your body felt like it was being controlled before, it now feels like that force has left, but didn't give it back to you. You're dimly aware that you've dropped your gun and your sword only because your hands feel lighter, shaking. Something hot rolls down your cheek, vision blurring and then going dark as you squeeze your eyes shut tight.
A voice in your head whispers: Congratulations.
There's a sharp pain in your head, and your entire body feels like it's on fire. The world fades away...
And Jiro opens his eyes again. Great time to zone out.
In addition, your randomized extra bonuses are:
1) Jiro will receive a tanzaku. He can write down a small wish on it and take it to the shrine. When he hangs it at the shrine, his wish will be granted.
2) Jiro's sense of taste and smell are gone for 3 full days
You may choose to either accept or ignore any of these extra bonuses.
Please ensure that you update your info page with any new information.
