The Velvet Room exists between the consciousness and subconsciousness. It is inaccessible by characters who do not wield a Persona or have lost their Persona for various different reasons. In fact, its entire existence is limited only to Persona users and to the regular individual, they will not be able to even see the entrance to the room. Although it is stationed primarily in the castle, the entrance of the Velvet Room may also be found in various different locations, such as by the dungeons and the shrine. Sometimes, there may be a "malfunction" and an ordinary door will actually lead into the Velvet Room. Why does that happen? Well... perhaps characters will have to ask the attendants for that answer.
Within the room, two attendants occupy the space. These attendants act as guides and will perform various different duties in order to assist the characters. They will pass on plot information, answer questions, give out requests (with the promise of a reward, of course), forge magic-infused weapons, heal, and such on. Requests, in particular, are given out ICly and OOCly monthly and may be undertaken by any character who wishes to complete them. Please see the first toplevel of this entry for more information.
The attendants may be regularly contacted by entering the Velvet Room and, as a result, players may comment to this entry to interact with either attendant. Players may specify which attendant that they'd like to interact with or allow the mods to choose. These threads may be used towards AC and bonus activity. However, due to the attention-intensive nature of NPC threads, these threads may be quickly wrapped up in order to save time for the mods.
→ VELVET ROOM ATTENDANTS
The attendant you might have to wake up, pretending to be asleep so you have to bother Souji instead of him. His requests tend towards what he wants to do or eat at the moment, but he seems to enjoy seeing the world, though he isn't always good company. Seriously. Go bother Souji instead.
The more talkative attendant between the two, though he could say some pretty bizarre things. He also seems overly fond of cats for some reason and will unironically go "nya". His requests normally seem to involve taking him out somewhere or bringing him particularly... strange objects.

We need plates, forks, and a knife. Can you get them in the kitchen? We can eat in the lounge.

Souji's not back yet. He's out on a mission to pet every single cat in town... Is it okay to start without him?
[ There are a lot of cats. Minato also only comes out of the kitchen with three forks, and no plates or knives. Why do they need plates and knives when the cake is in a box and they can just eat directly from the cake? ]
no subject
[ It's because there's art and etiquette into eating a cake, you former clown fool. 45 picks up the fork and tries to use it as a knife so that maybe Minato will eat it whole. ]
no subject
[ They can save Souji a large piece, and since Souji doesn't like eating by himself, he'll share it with the two of them anyways, and it'll be a win-win no matter what.
He lets 45 cut into the cake like somebody with decency, and then uses his fork to eat straight out of the other side of the cake. ]

It truly is the best cake I've ever eaten~ The townspeople are good for something after all~
[ Other than the occasional entertainment. ]
no subject
You got this from one of the townspeople? Who? And can I bribe them for more cake...?
[ The townspeople are good for lots of things, like baking cake, and making burgers, and ice cream, and grasshopper candy, and beef bowls, and fake fish dishes, and all that good stuff. ]
no subject
[ Basically, just food. ]
Maybe you should put an ema for whatever you want to eat too and I can pick it up for you if you want~
no subject
[ All of Minato's emas are going to be for the second best cake, third best cake, etc. until he cleans the town out of cakes. ]
Nobody can tell if I don't complete any in return, can I? After leaving a menu?
[ How do emas work. He could take a bunch of emas and never complete them and still get his wishes granted by kind townspeople. It works— it's bad karma, but it works. ]

[ Kira kira☆☆☆ ]

Will the cute Itsuki-chan☆ not mind picking things up for me? I'll compensate with half the food.
[ Fuck good will. He will absolutely cheat the system to get free anonymous food. ]
no subject
Deal, but you gotta hang up the emas yourself.
no subject
for the sake of food, though........... ]
Okay. Maybe... we can go together. And skate. And stuff.
no subject
Oh? You wanted to go ice skating with me?
no subject
[ Maybe that came out too quickly. But he's been looking forward to it ever since Terry told him the lake froze over and offered to go together, and then he ditched Terry. ]
no subject
[ 45 only learned to walk across ice without falling, but never skating since she never had a reason to learn. ]
no subject
[ He's water skied before. It's going to be like that. ]
no subject
Want to go now or tomorrow?
[ Is Minato impatient for it now or will they get to see Terry and Kido doing sappy shit on the ice the next day. ]
no subject
[ Also he wants to laugh at Kido and Terry tomorrow. ]
no subject
[ Not like... she was doing anything important.
Are we making a new thread while this one gets a threeway or. ]
no subject
[ yea, let me tag 45's event toplevel for skating ]
