The Velvet Room exists between the consciousness and subconsciousness. It is inaccessible by characters who do not wield a Persona or have lost their Persona for various different reasons. In fact, its entire existence is limited only to Persona users and to the regular individual, they will not be able to even see the entrance to the room. Although it is stationed primarily in the castle, the entrance of the Velvet Room may also be found in various different locations, such as by the dungeons and the shrine. Sometimes, there may be a "malfunction" and an ordinary door will actually lead into the Velvet Room. Why does that happen? Well... perhaps characters will have to ask the attendants for that answer.

Within the room, two attendants occupy the space. These attendants act as guides and will perform various different duties in order to assist the characters. They will pass on plot information, answer questions, give out requests (with the promise of a reward, of course), forge magic-infused weapons, heal, and such on. Requests, in particular, are given out ICly and OOCly monthly and may be undertaken by any character who wishes to complete them. Please see the first toplevel of this entry for more information.

The attendants may be regularly contacted by entering the Velvet Room and, as a result, players may comment to this entry to interact with either attendant. Players may specify which attendant that they'd like to interact with or allow the mods to choose. These threads may be used towards AC and bonus activity. However, due to the attention-intensive nature of NPC threads, these threads may be quickly wrapped up in order to save time for the mods.

🢒🢒 minato The attendant you might have to wake up, pretending to be asleep so you have to bother Souji instead of him. His requests tend towards what he wants to do or eat at the moment, but he seems to enjoy seeing the world, though he isn't always good company. Seriously. Go bother Souji instead.

🢒🢒 souji The more talkative attendant between the two, though he could say some pretty bizarre things. He also seems overly fond of cats for some reason and will unironically go "nya". His requests normally seem to involve taking him out somewhere or bringing him particularly... strange objects.

I think we're well past the point of no return on being as far away from refined as possible.

She never has to buy anything in the music store since she can just listen to songs, record them, and then put them in her phone. ]

Toki was making a bunch of these in the craft fair. They're pretty nice, aren't they?

[ Even if Toki didn't sell his mansion, he would be rich because Souji would just throw money at him. ]

[ He would probably be happy with all the orders. Who knows. ]

[ It's a lie. Cream-san is his favourite and Mitsuya-chan was pretty high up there as well. ]

Once I get a sweater for everyone, then I'll let them wear it. It wouldn't be fair otherwise.

Toki might be running out of supplies, so you should hurry and ask him.

[ Because once he goes blind, he can't make them anymore. ]

I'll make sure to seek him out, but if he's unable to, I could always try to make my own.

[ Souji doesn't know how to knit but he could give it a try. It's not like there's much else to do around here. ]
