The Velvet Room exists between the consciousness and subconsciousness. It is inaccessible by characters who do not wield a Persona or have lost their Persona for various different reasons. In fact, its entire existence is limited only to Persona users and to the regular individual, they will not be able to even see the entrance to the room. Although it is stationed primarily in the castle, the entrance of the Velvet Room may also be found in various different locations, such as by the dungeons and the shrine. Sometimes, there may be a "malfunction" and an ordinary door will actually lead into the Velvet Room. Why does that happen? Well... perhaps characters will have to ask the attendants for that answer.

Within the room, two attendants occupy the space. These attendants act as guides and will perform various different duties in order to assist the characters. They will pass on plot information, answer questions, give out requests (with the promise of a reward, of course), forge magic-infused weapons, heal, and such on. Requests, in particular, are given out ICly and OOCly monthly and may be undertaken by any character who wishes to complete them. Please see the first toplevel of this entry for more information.

The attendants may be regularly contacted by entering the Velvet Room and, as a result, players may comment to this entry to interact with either attendant. Players may specify which attendant that they'd like to interact with or allow the mods to choose. These threads may be used towards AC and bonus activity. However, due to the attention-intensive nature of NPC threads, these threads may be quickly wrapped up in order to save time for the mods.

🢒🢒 minato The attendant you might have to wake up, pretending to be asleep so you have to bother Souji instead of him. His requests tend towards what he wants to do or eat at the moment, but he seems to enjoy seeing the world, though he isn't always good company. Seriously. Go bother Souji instead.

🢒🢒 souji The more talkative attendant between the two, though he could say some pretty bizarre things. He also seems overly fond of cats for some reason and will unironically go "nya". His requests normally seem to involve taking him out somewhere or bringing him particularly... strange objects.

[ Souji lies down in fetal position, just letting the cats overtake him. His poor Warajis... why must they always suffer? First Mitsuya-chan and now his cute Shadows. How could life get any worse? Well, a bunch of cute Warajis clawing up his face because 45 dropped them on him will probably do the trick. ]

[ He can't even enjoy them right away because they're screeching and trying to attack their supposed captor. Kill it!! Kill the giant!! ]

[ 45 plucks some of the warajis off Souji's face. ]

Clown god 2... I brought you your usual warajis and a cooler. Now you can stop going outside and storing food for the winter like a squirrel.

[ The Warajis scream when they're picked up. They flail with their chicken legs. Help!! ]

Have I told you lately that you're my favourite guest?

[ He still lies on the floor with cuts all over his face because the Warajis sure did a number on him. ]

Yes, but I wouldn't mind hearing it again~ come on, get up. The floor is no place for you.

[ She puts the warajis in the cooler for the time being so that she doesn't have to carry them. ]

I'm going to dry up, so I'll be right back.

[ She did just get through the lake after all... ]

[ He will say it as often as he needs to so 45 feels appreciated for all of her efforts. Souji will finally get up and he gingerly touches his face, only to wince. These scratches sure are deep. He'll have to treat them. ]

[ Either on you or nearby so it can help with the drying process. Anyway, he will take the cooler and put it in the kitchen while he heads into the bathroom to clean up. He'll heal up the cuts because he wouldn't want any scars, but he'll still stick a few bandaids on his face. Everyone should look at his cute kitty bandaids and even though the physical wounds are one, the emotional ones still remain. ]

[ He'll soon be back in the kitchen and putting on Waraji in the sink so this can also run around and scream like its predecessor. ]

[ She doesn't want to burst into flames even if Malphas is resistant to fire. Anyway, when she goes to where Souji is, she has a bowlcut and a wig in her hand. ]

[ Souji is watching the little Waraji running around in the sink when he looks up at 45. Nice. ]

Does it involve your new and absolutely perfect haircut?

Yeah.

[ She doesn't think so, but this is faster. 45 puts a wig on her head in an attempt to cover her new hairstyle, but her hair immediately eats the wig. This is what the bowl cut bonus has turned into, Ichi. ]
