The Velvet Room exists between the consciousness and subconsciousness. It is inaccessible by characters who do not wield a Persona or have lost their Persona for various different reasons. In fact, its entire existence is limited only to Persona users and to the regular individual, they will not be able to even see the entrance to the room. Although it is stationed primarily in the castle, the entrance of the Velvet Room may also be found in various different locations, such as by the dungeons and the shrine. Sometimes, there may be a "malfunction" and an ordinary door will actually lead into the Velvet Room. Why does that happen? Well... perhaps characters will have to ask the attendants for that answer.
Within the room, two attendants occupy the space. These attendants act as guides and will perform various different duties in order to assist the characters. They will pass on plot information, answer questions, give out requests (with the promise of a reward, of course), forge magic-infused weapons, heal, and such on. Requests, in particular, are given out ICly and OOCly monthly and may be undertaken by any character who wishes to complete them. Please see the first toplevel of this entry for more information.
The attendants may be regularly contacted by entering the Velvet Room and, as a result, players may comment to this entry to interact with either attendant. Players may specify which attendant that they'd like to interact with or allow the mods to choose. These threads may be used towards AC and bonus activity. However, due to the attention-intensive nature of NPC threads, these threads may be quickly wrapped up in order to save time for the mods.
→ VELVET ROOM ATTENDANTS
The attendant you might have to wake up, pretending to be asleep so you have to bother Souji instead of him. His requests tend towards what he wants to do or eat at the moment, but he seems to enjoy seeing the world, though he isn't always good company. Seriously. Go bother Souji instead.
The more talkative attendant between the two, though he could say some pretty bizarre things. He also seems overly fond of cats for some reason and will unironically go "nya". His requests normally seem to involve taking him out somewhere or bringing him particularly... strange objects.

[ You know, the one he refused to let Souji heal. lol ]
no subject
[ he'll heal the dangerous stuff, not the simple stuff. ]
no subject
[ Again. Despite being in the hospital for dying.
Another quiet sip--oh, he's almost done with his tea. ]
no subject
[ at least bring souji a cat and then he'll consider the healing part. ]
There're a few Personas out there that can heal so you can ask some of your friends instead.
no subject
[ He thinks about Personas who can heal--Kido and Rei.
... ]
Sometimes... just on some days... I don't want to let them know I got hurt.
no subject
[ duh ]
And mm, don't want to worry them?

[ And as if to thank Souji for the tea, he goes over to the sink and washes his own mug. Terry holds out a hand over in Souji's direction. ]
If you're done, I can wash your cup.
no subject
[ he refers back to the time that terry made them bear steak and then ran out so souji had to wash the wishes. he'll finish the last drops of tea in his mug before he holds it out. ]
no subject
[ He has no regrets about skipping out on dishes that last time... Terry takes Souji's mug and thoroughly washes it with water and soap, then puts the mugs in a cabinet. ]
no subject
[ he leans back against the counter as terry washes the cups and puts them away. ]
Feel free to come back whenever you want. Just not when you're sick.
no subject
... Thanks for today.
[ And he waves to Souji as he leaves. goodbye soujinyan... ]
