The Velvet Room exists between the consciousness and subconsciousness. It is inaccessible by characters who do not wield a Persona or have lost their Persona for various different reasons. In fact, its entire existence is limited only to Persona users and to the regular individual, they will not be able to even see the entrance to the room. Although it is stationed primarily in the castle, the entrance of the Velvet Room may also be found in various different locations, such as by the dungeons and the shrine. Sometimes, there may be a "malfunction" and an ordinary door will actually lead into the Velvet Room. Why does that happen? Well... perhaps characters will have to ask the attendants for that answer.
Within the room, two attendants occupy the space. These attendants act as guides and will perform various different duties in order to assist the characters. They will pass on plot information, answer questions, give out requests (with the promise of a reward, of course), forge magic-infused weapons, heal, and such on. Requests, in particular, are given out ICly and OOCly monthly and may be undertaken by any character who wishes to complete them. Please see the first toplevel of this entry for more information.
The attendants may be regularly contacted by entering the Velvet Room and, as a result, players may comment to this entry to interact with either attendant. Players may specify which attendant that they'd like to interact with or allow the mods to choose. These threads may be used towards AC and bonus activity. However, due to the attention-intensive nature of NPC threads, these threads may be quickly wrapped up in order to save time for the mods.
→ VELVET ROOM ATTENDANTS
The attendant you might have to wake up, pretending to be asleep so you have to bother Souji instead of him. His requests tend towards what he wants to do or eat at the moment, but he seems to enjoy seeing the world, though he isn't always good company. Seriously. Go bother Souji instead.
The more talkative attendant between the two, though he could say some pretty bizarre things. He also seems overly fond of cats for some reason and will unironically go "nya". His requests normally seem to involve taking him out somewhere or bringing him particularly... strange objects.

...I don't think so.

[ Both of kind of concerning, in their own ways. ]

[ That's the more concerning of the two options. ]
Okay. The request will be there if you ever change your mind.

I just... don't have any to talk about. So there's no point in seeing him.

[ Dream about punching Yuusuke in the face. Do it. ]

[Wow, that was a quick reply.]

[ This is Minato's dream. He wants a pet dog. ]

[ Minato has lots of hopes and dreams he'll share with Sasuke. Or he can come up with one himself. ]

[It feels like cheating.]
I don't think it's healthy to sleep that long.
no subject
[ It definitely is not healthy to sleep that long, but Minato wants to anyways, so he just nods. ]
no subject
[He just doesn't think he can talk that much about them...]
no subject
[ He can't promise one way or another, even though he knows Souji will be nice about it. ]
I'm the nosy one. If you don't have much to explain about it, you can just say so. He'll understand.
no subject
[He just doesn't have much to say on the subject - given he barely has any hopes or dreams.]
no subject
[ He offers this, but Sasuke should know the opposite also holds true. If Minato's ever being annoying, Sasuke can always complain to Souji to set him straight. ]

I'll go look for him there, then. Thanks.
